Brandi Bratek is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®) and has been working in the field of sport and performance psychology for over 25 years. She has worked with Olympic medalists, WTA tour players, nationally ranked juniors, athletes just beginning to compete and parents who are best trying to support their children on their competitive endeavors.
She has traveled the world as a Cognitive Performance Specialist for both the US Air Force and US Army and as a Primary Instructor for the US Army’s Master Resilience Course. She has worked with a wide variety of military personnel including US Air Force Fighter Pilots and Instructors, US Army Special Forces and Wounded Warriors.
In addition to her expertise in sport and performance psychology she is well-researched in the areas of sleep and human performance. As a result of this research, she has developed curriculum for both the US Army and US Air Force and taught classes to the Air Command and Staff College on the topics of fatigue, sleep, and how they impact our performance capabilities and our short and long-term health.
She is a certified breathwork facilitator and uses this training to aid clients in understanding their own breathing capabilities and restrictions. She creates individualized breath protocols to help improve overall health and performance both in and out of the athletic arena. She has her Master’s degree in Physical Education with a Sport Psychology emphasis from San Diego State University and completed her B.S. in Psychology at Florida Southern College.
Brandi Bratek is also an athlete and still competes internationally. She is a two-time, International Tennis Federation, World Championship Mixed Doubles 45’s gold medalist. She was one of four people chosen to represent the USA on the ITF World Team for the Women’s 45’s in 2022 and 2023. She has won a gold ball in the Women’s Doubles National 30’s Hard Court Championship, has won a 10.0 Mixed National Championship and has been a finalist in the National 5.0 Team Championships. She has worked with several collegiate athletic teams including San Diego State University, UC Berkeley, University of Arkansas, Austin Peay State University, Savannah College of Art and Design and most recently as the volunteer assistant coach at the University of the Incarnate Word. She competed collegiately at Florida Southern College and Augusta State University.
